Hi, I'm Andrea! I earned my Master's from Cambridge College in 2022, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and am working toward licensure as an outpatient clinician in a community mental health setting. I'm hoping to specialize in couples counseling, and am completing a postgraduate fellowship with the Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England (PCFINE). As a new mental health professional, I have direct personal experience with the complex issues faced by those entering this field, as we develop our counseling skills, find our professional niches, and navigate the licensure process. As I join the MAMHCA Board, I'm excited about the chance to make a meaningful contribution to improving the quality of life of my fellow new clinicians and of those we serve.

Hi! I’m Tracie. I am a full-time student pursuing my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. I am also a certified health coach, and a lifelong student of food, intention, nutrition, and fitness. I have experience as a small business owner, motivator, and marketer and I am passionate about assisting others through service and mentorship. I’m excited for my role on the MaMHCA Board as student representative and I look forward to contributing to the advocacy, education, and support of student mental health counselors and our profession.

MaMHCA’s 2023 Annual Conference on Working with Neurodiverse Clients is behind us. MaMHCA wants to thank all the members who joined us for our first in-person event since 2019.  Our President’s Reception on Friday night saw folks networking, munching, and engaging in a few playful moments, while raising almost $500 for the Haberman-Williams Scholarship Fund.

Saturday’s conference was filled with great workshops, wonderful networking among the 140 attendees, and good information from our sponsors.  While it was a lot of work, we also had fun, especially with a fantastic raffle with offerings for therapists to use with clients, or for themselves.  The raffle raised nearly $500 for the Haberman-Williams Scholarship fund!

The Conference Committee deserves kudos for a wonderful event. Our team has already begun planning for next year’s conference, topic, date and location to be revealed as soon as we sort that out.  In the meantime, join MaMHCA at any of our virtual workshops throughout the rest of 2023.
