AI Ethics Course
Course Description:
1. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of AI technologies, their capabilities, limitations, and ethical implications for counseling practice. 2. Apply professional and ethical standards to supervisees’ use of AI tools, ensuring client welfare, competence, and compliance with confidentiality regulations. 3. Evaluate client perceptions, cultural considerations, and potential biases when integrating AI into therapy or assessment. 4. Explain informed consent and confidentiality requirements for AI-supported tools in clinical practice. 5. Identify legislative and professional guidelines governing the use of AI in counseling practice.

This course is intended for licensed counselors, clinical supervisors, and graduate students in counseling or mental health fields who want to integrate or supervise the use of AI tools in clinical practice.

Completion Requirements:
Participants must complete all modules, review assigned case scenarios, and participate in reflective exercises to demonstrate understanding of AI integration in counseling.
