Continuing Education for LMHCs

Our goal is to provide trainings that increase your knowledge and confidence, broaden your horizons, and enhance your capabilities as a healthcare provider. Continuing education is available live, online, hybrid, and in-home study formats.

Our Continuing Education Programs

We offer single-session trainings and multi-session thematic tracks on specialties such as trauma, expressive therapies, children, diversity, and tracks leading to basic and advanced certifications in clinical supervision.

All workshops are designed for LMHCs in Massachusetts at all career levels and are preapproved by MaMHCA/MCEAP for LMHC license renewal.

Summer Institute Thematic Tracks including Trauma, Expressive Therapies, and Diversity/Equity & Inclusion

All LMHCs are required to obtain 30 CEUs every 2 years. Each 2-year license renewal cycle runs from January 1 of the even-numbered year through December 31 of the odd-numbered year. The Board of Allied Mental Health conducts random audits to evaluate compliance. Failure to comply may result in license loss.

MaMHCA maintains a strict cancellation policy: Cancellations prior to 14 days before the event may request a full credit towards a future session or a refund minus $35 processing. Cancellations within 14 days receive no credit or refund.
