Submission Standards & Guidelines

MaMHCA is committed to advancing mental health counseling and maintaining high standards across all published materials.

All submissions are reviewed for:

  • Accuracy
  • Objectivity
  • Clinical and scientific integrity
  • Ethical alignment
  • Relevant expertise

Content may be edited, fact-checked, and reviewed by credentialed professionals. Articles are written to translate clinical and research knowledge into accessible, practical insights.

When scientific consensus exists, it is clearly stated. When emerging or competing perspectives are present, they are appropriately contextualized.

All content is reviewed by the editorial team prior to publication. Once approved, it meets MaMHCA’s standards for professional responsibility and accuracy.

References may be included as citations or footnotes where applicable. MaMHCA reserves the right to accept or decline submissions at any stage.
