Supporting Executive Function and Metacognition Through Games

IN PERSON IN FOXBORO

This presentation will utilize a combination of primarily experiential learning in dyads and/or small groups, with some information being presented more in a lecture format with handouts. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas about how to use games that may be traditional to their own cultural background, or that of their clientele, to support EF and Metacognition in ND clients. Additionally, the concept of using traditional games in a non-traditional way, in order to build connection and empathy with ND clients by following their lead, will also be discussed.
