MaMHCAs 3rd Annual Virtual Open House

  • Join us Friday, March 31st from 9am-1pm for our third annual virtual open house! Although the rise of telehealth and virtual graduate classes has brought convenience to our lives in some regard, it has brought too a sense of isolation. Come join MaMHCA at the open house for an opportunity to connect with other professionals and learn about some of our programs and LMHC legislation and advocacy updates! Sessions start at 9am with an introduction and networking opportunity with Membership Committee Chair and Private Practice Director Jenn Hurley, LMHC. Other sessions include news about the NEW LSMHC, internship FAQs and scholarship information for students and more!
    When: Friday, March 31st, 2023 from 9am-1pm
    Where: Virtual on Zoom!
    Cost: FREE to both members and non-members!

9:00am-10:00am: Coffee Hour Networking Tag (Introductions and Informal Program Chat and Networking) Hosted by Jenn Hurley LMHC, Membership Committee Chair and Private Practice Director

10:00am-11:00am: Student Hour: Internship FAQs and Scholarship Program Highlights Hosted by Christine Cassidy, LMHC and David McCallister, LMHC and Scholarship Program Chair

11:00am-11:30am: Legislation and Advocacy Update Hosted by Joe Weeks, LMHC and Public Policy Director

11:30am-12:30pm: Introducing the LSMHC and Other Changes for Agencies, Organizations and New Professionals Hosted by Midge Williams, LMHC, MaACCS and Executive Director

12:30-1:00 Wrap Up and Looking Ahead

***Prizes for Participation! All winners will be announced at the end of the day. You need to attend at least one session for the raffle, but winners need not be present to be awarded their prize during the last session.***
