Drama Therapy and Role Play in Grief and Loss Processing

Live in Foxboro

Based on the teachings of Jacob Moreno, who developed drama therapy and psychodrama, Saphira Linden, who pioneered Transpersonal Drama Therapy methods and Dan Wiener, the creator of Rehearsals for Growth, this session will integrate what we've learned during the previous 4 workshops focused on Grief and Loss. Most of this session will be spent on experiential implementation of these techniques in clinical settings, with time to explore case examples.

Presenter: Jami Osborne, LMHC, MACCS

Jami Osborne, MaMHCA's current President and Professional Development Director has over 25 years of experience as a drama therapist. She has utilized these methods in years of hospice volunteer work with patients and their families, with senior population in long-term care facilities and with her individual clients who reported experiencing grief and loss events.
